The Coaching Workshop Series for our directors and team leaders was extremely helpful. What worked really well were the demonstrations, the learning games, the opportunities for practice, the feedback, and the group discussions. I really appreciated the opportunities for people to be really open and honest, and the use of games and activities to gently push us outside of our comfort zone. Simon’s positive and insightful approach was invaluable, and the facilitation style – organized, fun, interesting, interactive, beautifully paced, and engaging – added tremendously to the learning experience of all. His many “real life” examples of coaching situations helped understand the impacts and benefits of coaching. The many opportunities for practice, both during and in-between the sessions, was invaluable to solidify our understanding of the subject matter. I wish we had longer days, and more of your sessions! – A group of Directors and Team Leaders
I would highly recommend Simon for any organization who wants to offer their employees a unique, fun, deep, meaningful experience. Simon recently designed and delivered a multi-day session series dealing with communication and cultural awareness for our organization. The project was demanding as it required a workshop that served learning needs of 3 unique organizations, from 3 very different cultures, that were collaborating on a challenging project. Simon was accommodating and patient through the design process and delivered a superb session series, despite last minute changes. His activities and stories about working in many cultures greatly enhanced the experience for participants. Overall, it was very positively received. Thank you Simon – you were an absolute pleasure to work with! – K.A., Organizational Development and Learning Specialist
Our world is changing at an escalating pace, increasing our struggle to understand the everyday complexities of our professional and personal lives.
How do we view this complexity and rapid pace of change not as a burden, but rather as a catalyst and an accelerator to unleash our best creative imagination and thinking? How do we tap into and engage the power of our hearts and souls, so that our human spirit is collectively unleashed towards a just and sustainable future for all? Are you ready to meet and embrace this future? Is your organization?
We are now witnessing new applications of information and knowledge in all spheres of our professional, personal, and social lives – a fact that has probably become the most dynamic feature in the transformation of our societies, on both individual and collective levels. Given this increasing pace of change, there is little – if anything – in the world around us where continuous learning is not emerging as a permanent feature of organizational and social life.
An inclusive vision of lifelong learning can be stated as the capacity to live a fulfilling life in changing times and changing circumstances. Whether individual, team, or organizational, lifelong learning is a multi-dimensional process that is now becoming everybody’s business, interest, and responsibility. It increases the organizational resilience and adaptability, by enabling it to embrace and harness the creative energies of change. This process unleashes the curiousity, passion, creativity, self-awareness, self-respect, fulfillment, and intrinsic motivation to make a lasting difference in the world.
Facilitating such organizational and individual learning strategies and processes for navigating chaos and complexity is what I do. It is my work. It is also my greatest passion.
